When purchasing a Land Rover Approved used car, you will be covered by a comprehensive warranty just like with a new car: Our Land Rover Approved warranty of at least 24 months or up to a maximum of 180,000 km (whichever is reached first) was developed exclusively for Land Rover and includes all mechanical and electrical components and labour costs. The Land Rover Approved warranty only applies to vehicles that were imported by Jaguar Land Rover Switzerland Ltd, are less than five years old and have less than 100,000 km in mileage on conclusion of the contract. Our mobility warranty of at least 24 months covers the same services as Land Rover Assistance for new cars: breakdown, accident and theft assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We offer mobility and security, wherever you and your Land Rover are in Europe, for you and all of your passengers.

Every used car undergoes a thorough examination by our specially trained experts. The inspection includes a complete engine check, a test drive and a final examination, followed by a professional vehicle preparation. This involves checking every detail from the paintwork and power to safety, as well as evaluating the vehicle based on a 165-point checking procedure. All vehicles are prepared technically and visually, making exclusive use of original Land Rover parts. Only vehicles imported by Jaguar Land Rover Switzerland Ltd and which have undergone the 165-point multifunctional check meet the requirements to be sold as a Land Rover Approved used car.

Service and maintenance work requires experience, specialist knowledge and top-class skills. Only qualified technicians are allowed to work on your Land Rover. They receive on-going training in the use of special tools, technical equipment and work processes. On top of this, they have priority access to professional technical support from the Land Rover importer. <br>Replacement parts and accessories by Land Rover meet our high standards for safety and reliability. They are the ideal solution for service and maintenance work and come covered by a suitable replacement part warranty.​​

The history of every vehicle is checked in detail by a leading independent body. Every vehicle has an independently verified mileage and a confirmed ownership history. This ensures that there are no outstanding financing instalments, that the vehicle is not stolen and that it has not been written off. This means you can breathe easy on the road in your new Approved vehicle and that you will get the performance that you paid for.​

The vehicles undergo a test drive on the road, during which our technicians will verify that every vehicle’s characteristic features are up to standard. This includes, among other things, suspension, damping, braking, engine power and gears, plus nine other special areas to ensure the vehicle delivers an optimal driving performance. Only detailed tests of this kind can guarantee that our Approved vehicles meet high quality standards.​

To meet the high quality standards to which we hold ourselves and our dealerships, we commission independent inspections for our services, facilities and staff. These cover all aspects of the Approved programme from the customer’s perspective – from on-site conditions to the actual vehicles.​
