Vehicle handover

Your Land Rover is ready for collection. We would be happy to bring your new vehicle closer to you and show you what makes a Land Rover special.

Insurance

Insurance comes included in the cost of the Land Rover subscription – no searching and comparing, no paperwork.

Every Land Rover subscription includes liability, collision damage waiver and fully comprehensive insurance that will take effect in the event of a claim. The insurance contributions are included in the monthly subscription instalment. In the event of a claim under the fully comprehensive insurance policy, the excess is CHF 1,500. A claim will not affect your monthly subscription instalment.

Maintenance

Servicing and maintenance often come hand-in-hand with additional costs. With a Land Rover subscription, this is not the case because the monthly subscription instalment already includes these costs.

Maintenance and repairs on the vehicle may only be performed within Switzerland by an official Land Rover partner. This also applies to the installation or removal of any accessories, as well as the changing of summer or winter tyres.

Please arrange a visit to the garage with us ahead of time. We will cover the cost of this provided the agreed mileage and appropriate service intervals have not been exceeded. Every Land Rover comes issued with a manufacturer warranty.

Vehicle return

At the end of the term, you will return your Land Rover by the deadline. To avoid any nasty surprises, we will take the time to inspect the vehicle together with you. This will involve clearly distinguishing between usual wear and insured events. It is, of course, acknowledged that the car is used rather than new.

How is a Land Rover subscription different from leasing?

The Land Rover subscription is a rental subscription with an agreement term of 3, 6 12 or 18 months. The Land Rover subscription does not require a deposit, just a credit card check.

Is a credit card check required?

Yes. When hiring the vehicle, your credit card will be used to check whether you are able to meet your payment obligations and a security amount will be reserved. The security amount will be one monthly instalment plus a flat rate for a tank of fuel. Prepaid and debit cards cannot be used.

What insurance cover will I have?

Fully comprehensive insurance is included in the price. This includes cover for theft and liability reduction with an excess of CHF 1,500 per event.

What shall I do in the event of a breakdown?

As a Land Rover subscription customer, you have access to our Land Rover Assistance 24/7 breakdown service (Switzerland: 062 788 85 31 If calling from outside Switzerland: +41 62 788 85 31).

What conditions do I have to meet for the Land Rover subscription?

You must be 25 years old or over and must have held a valid driving licence for at least one year. The terms and conditions of rental for the Land Rover subscription also apply.

Do you offer fuel cards for business customers?

No, we do not offer fuel cards.

Are people other than me allowed to drive the car I have subscribed to?

Yes, you are allowed to register up to three additional drivers. These must be registered prior to the vehicle handover.

Can a third party pay my subscription instalments if I do not have a credit card?

Yes, but the cardholder will have to consent to being a party to the agreement by the time the vehicle is collected.

Can I keep the vehicle once the Land Rover subscription is over?

Yes. After your Land Rover subscription expires, you can buy or lease the car. We would be happy to quote you a price.

What are normal signs of wear and what is damage to the vehicle?

Signs of wear that occur in the course of normal use and as a result of mileage are acceptable. This excludes signs or damage caused by improper or exceptionally heavy use.

Can I smoke in the vehicle?

Smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited. Cigarettes, cigars, pipes and e-cigarettes are all prohibited. If this rule is broken, an invoice of CHF 500 will be issued.
